Weekly Contemplative Prayer Opportunities

Wednesday Evening Contemplative Prayer Sit, online via zoom

All are welcome to join us online on Wednesdays from Collegeville. The prayer begins with a simple chant and a reading from the Psalms, and we observe two 20-minute periods of silent prayer with a contemplative walk in between.  If you are coming for the first time, we recommend you come online early so we can welcome you and introduce you to the practice and space.  Immediately prior to prayer, Christine Luna Munger will present a short 15 minute introductory teaching on Contemplative Prayer.  You are welcome to join the formal sit after the short teaching, but please know that the short teaching will flow right into the formal sit with nothing more than a brief silence.

5-5:15–time for tech and social connection

5:15-5:30–short teaching

(brief interlude marked by silence)

5:30-6:30–formal sitting period
