In this EHoP Mystics Series audio lecture, former EHoP director Ward Bauman teaches on the life and wisdom teachings of the 15th century Indian poet Kabir.
Born a Muslim, Kabir studied under a Hindu guru, but did not himself identify with either tradition. Kabir was a fascinating, controversial figure whose biography is filled with legends, riddles, and mystery.
“Just open your heart to Kabir’s poetry, and see what it’s saying. What is in his heart? This human heart-to-heart is an immensely wonderful way for us to connect to another person, even from this distance. You’ll recognize, within your own heart, his words.”
