Lectio Divina is a time-tested practice that welcomes people of any level of training to more deeply engage with sacred scriptures.  This prayer form engages the head and the heart and integrates daily life experience into the reflective process.  Historically, Lectio Divina has been a monastic practice that has gained popularity in recent decades. It involves a four-tiered process of reading, meditating, praying, and contemplating. In this half-day, online session, we will address both the individual and group formats. The session will include an historical overview, practical tips on how to pray with the scriptures, and an actual experience Lectio Divina.
