Rates

Overnight Groups

  • $75 per person per night (includes continental breakfast)
  • There is an eight-person minimum charge ($600) to ensure that there are no other overnight guests staying at the same time (even if there are fewer than eight members of your group).
  • There is no minimum number of nights.
  • Overnight reservations include access to all shared spaces, including the hearth room, dining room, kitchen, and oratory.
  • The only reservable common space is the hearth room. If your group needs your own private meeting space while you are here, you can reserve the hearth room for $100/day.

Day-Use Only Groups

  • $100/day for the hearth room, which seats up to 24 people.
  • This is the only reservable room for special events.
  • Day-use only groups also have access to all shared spaces, including the dining room, kitchen, and oratory.

Oratory-Only Groups

  • There is never a charge for use of the oratory, though we welcome any free-will donations.
  • If you would like to arrange for your group to visit the oratory at a specific time, please email houseprayer@csbsju.edu with your desired date, arrival time, and departure time. 

Add-Ons

  • Technology cart (includes large smart screen, sound bar, two high-quality cameras, wireless mic system): $25 flat fee
  • Teaching from EHoP director Christine Luna Munger: $100 for teachings up to two hours, $300 for teachings up to four hours, $500 for teachings up to eight hours

Policies

Group Size

  • When you book your retreat, you’ll be asked how many guests will be attending, but you’ll have a chance to change this number up to two weeks before the start of your retreat.
  • Three weeks before the start of your retreat, you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm your group size. Then, about two weeks before the start of your retreat, you’ll receive an invoice based on that final number.
  • Once we send your invoice, we are not able to adjust it or give refunds if your group size goes down or if members of the group cancel at the last minute. If your group size goes up at the last minute, you’ll receive a supplemental invoice to cover any additional guests.

Deposits and Payments

  • 50% deposit is due at time of reservation. Your reservation is not complete until we receive your deposit.
  • The balance will be due two weeks prior to your event.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • For reservations canceled more than eight weeks before the event start date, 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • For reservations canceled between four and eight weeks before the start date, 50% will be refunded.
  • For reservations canceled less than four weeks before the start date, no refund will be given.
