The Episcopal House of Prayer is a 12-room retreat house nestled in maple woods on the edge of the campus of Saint John’s Abbey and University. Since 1990, we have been welcoming groups and individuals into our living and sacred spaces for retreat, contemplation, and a time and space apart. We’ve welcomed groups of all kinds: church staff, non-profits, writing and artist groups, health care providers, book clubs, yoga, and all seekers of spiritual transformation. During the week, we welcome day use groups, though this is often not possible on weekends. When available, the space is open for individual retreatants.
